Located at the top of the grand stairway in the historic main house and named for Victor and Jane Wilson, who purchased the mansion in 1840, this lavishly furnished suite with 12-foot ceilings provides a sense of what the words master suite are all about. The richly printed red and brown wool carpeting and elaborate gold drapery adorn the room alongside the period furniture and comfortable seating area. Don’t miss an up-close view from your second floor, private windows of Vicksburg’s oldest columns on the front of Anchuca. The private bathroom features marble floors, double vanities, soaking tub, and walk-in shower.
Guests are provided a luxury queen-sized bed, private bathroom, luxury bathrobes, hair dryer, toiletries, mini refrigerator, K-cup coffee maker, mini bar, charging station, high speed WIFI, Roku Smart TV, iron and ironing board, individual thermostat control, priority reservations to our onsite restaurant, and a complimentary Southern-style breakfast followed by an informative orientation video and self guided house tour.
Optional connecting access to the Mauldin Room (Room 4) is available. A twin rollaway bed is also available for this room for an additional $40. Pets are not allowed inside of the main house but are welcomed in all carriage house rooms.
