Located upstairs in the historic main house, this room is named for the local politician who was one of the first owners and builders of Anchuca in the 1830s. This small yet charming room features a beautiful view of Anchuca’s carriage house and brick driveway below. Guests are provided a queen-sized bed, private bathroom with walk-in shower, hair dryer, mini refrigerator, K-cup coffee maker, mini bar, charging station, high speed WIFI, Roku Smart TV, iron and ironing board, priority reservations to our onsite restaurant, and a complimentary Southern-style breakfast followed by an informative orientation video and self-guided house tour.
This room is heated and cooled by a central air conditioning system and does not include an individual thermostat control. The average temperature of this room ranges between 69-71 degrees Fahrenheit. Optional connecting access to the Wilson Room (Room 10) is available. A twin rollaway bed is also available for this room for an additional $40. Pets are not allowed inside of the main house but are welcomed in all carriage house rooms.
